Flower Soft Make & Take

Get ready for new products. Many of you will have seen the Sizzix Big Shots and the Sizzix Folders that we demonstrated in store recently. Tim Holtz has created a line of embossing folders to be used with the Big Shots that we will have as soon as they are released. Flower Soft is a wonderful product to add dimension and interest to your images. Many of Rosewood stamps are ideally suited to embellishing with Flower Soft. Kitchener ScrapFest

The spring 2010 CreativFestival in Toronto has been cancelled by the organizers. However we have good news, we will be attending ScrapFest in Kitchener April 16 & 17 and highly recommend you attend this show. It will be full of stamping, scrapbooking, paper arts, fun and laughter.

Unfortunately we will not be bringing any wood mounted stamps to Kitchener due to Tom's injury. If you prefer wood mounted stamps or to make sure the stamps you desire will be there, go on line, place your request and ask us to bring it to ScrapFest.

Stamp Camp

How would you like to getaway for a weekend dedicated solely to stamping and card making? Here's what we have in mind?...

You will arrive Friday night for a Wine & Cheese party and visit with your fellow stampers. On Saturday from 10:00 until 12:00 and from 2:00 until 4:00 you will have classes demonstrating interesting techniques and creative stamp combinations. Lunch will be provided and Saturday evening enjoy a BBQ at the farm of Tom & Rose-Marie. Sunday will be your final day of instruction from 10:00 until 12:00. Sunday afternoon BYOS (Bring Your Own Stamp), Rose-Marie will be available to answer questions or you can start your journey home. Classes will include Pop Cuts, Flowers, Flowers, Flowers and Sizzix & Cuttlebug Creations.

Your cost of $300 will include the wine & cheese social Friday evening, your accommodation for two (2) nights, lunch and BBQ on Saturday plus all of your classes and supplies to complete the projects. If you prefer, the cost for all of the classes, the BBQ and one night accommodation is $200. Or if you just want to enjoy the classes only your cost is $75.

We all have gorgeous stamps that we have used once or twice and are now collecting dust, bring them with you and we will have a stamp exchange throughout the weekend. This exchange of stamps will be for camp participants only.

New Products

The Big Shots machines have arrived and they are fabulous. The Cuttlebug is a great machine but the Big Shots will do what the Cuttlebug can't. Emboss and cut using the easy to follow instruction that are printed on the base plate. The Big Shot will take most sizes of dies and embossing folders including the Original Sizzix. We have one of the promotional bundles left. This was a limited time offer and won't be repeated. This great bundle is shown with all of the great stuff that is included on the blog HERE.

Classes Added
The latest offering of in store classes has been posted. We would like to advise you of a few small changes. Although we understand that sometime life gets in the way of stuff we like to do, it has come to the point where we must have classes paid in advance. Most people are very considerate but we have had too many "no shows" for Rose-Marie's classes. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and regret having to adopt this policy. We also now require you to bring a basic class kit to class with you. This should include your choice of adhesive, scissors (anbd/or cutting blade with mat), pen, pencil, eraser, ruler and a water pen. This will make the class experience fun for everyone involved.
